He has also served as Assistant Public Defender for the Third Judicial District where he defended indigent clients in felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor and juvenile cases. He has taught Civil Procedure as an Adjunct Instructor at Winona State University. Mr. Olson received his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law where he received Dean's List honors. He received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he was Vice-President of the Pre-law Association.
